Our house is rarely clean and often times it only looks nice just before bedtime, or just before guest arrive. Those of you who know me well will laugh to hear me say that I feel so much better, when our house is clean and in order, and that I keep trying to get it to and keep it at that point. When I was younger my room was A MESS!! an BIG Mess. My mom would try to help me clean it, but I refused her help and told her "I couldn't find anything when it was clean." When I moved out, lets just say the carpet looked brand new.
I just read this blog post by a mom and it put things into perspective about having children and what we expect out house to look like. I really enjoyed it and wanted to share it.

I love it when Amelia dresses up, especially when she wears my shoes :)

iphone videos :)
These videos are from Michael's iphone, see the post below for the pics from his phone if you want. The first Video is of when Amelia saw snow for the first time this year. One is of Colin first learning to walk, and another is of Amelia and Colin's sister Cora trying to get the attention back on them :) And the last is of Daniel making the cutest faces while eating prunes.

These pictures are from Michael's phone. I always forget the camera, so he gets a lot of good pics on his phone for us!
This is how Amelia has been putting on her coat for the last few months. It is so cute. She puts her arms in and then flips it over her head so it ends up upside down, but she does not seem to think there is anything wrong with it :)

Keeping busy
Here are a few cute pictures of our recent days.
Amelia's Aunt Nichole gave her this Dora doll and accessories, and Amelia has hardly had a moment when she has been apart from Dora ever since! Notice the cute matching outfit Amelia is sporting :)
Michael did some BBQ, and so we had wonderful roasted marshmallows after wards.
Amelia loves to help her dad whenever she can. They are making a cat scratching post. I love her tool belt, it is kind of hard to see in the pic.
So I wonder.... how does your child do art? This is how Amelia does it. She likes to really get into it and feel her art work.
