Family Happenings

My latest hobby is making these mini pies... so good!

This is Amelia's Halloween outfit for this year. I was just trying it on to see if it fit, and I think she likes it! She kept running around saying "I pretty" She likes to say that now whenever you put something in her hair, or if you brush her hair.
We just love our Daniel. He is so handsome, and smiles lots. He is just now starting to really talk. I will have to post some videos of his talking. I feel bad I haven't taken many pics lately, but I have taken and good handful of videos. Those are just harder to post on the blog :)

This is a car bed. It is what Amelia came home in from the hospital. The baby lays down flat it in. So you can see how much she has grown in 2 years :)

We took the family to the Klesick Family Farm Festival. We get their boxes delivered on occasion to our home and thought it would be fun to attend. Here is Amelia driving one of their toy tractors.

Also we dog-sat Kuma last month for a week and Amelia was in heaven to have a playmate who was always there and always willing to play.

Daniel's 2 months old

Today I went to the doctors for Daniel's 2 month appointment. We were there for over an hour... they are a little slow I would have to say. But grateful for the time they take with each patient.

Daniel is doing well. He is 11 pounds 8 ounces, and almost 22 inches. He has been doing much better now that he is on some reflux meds. And we have the head of everything elevated- pack-n-play, changing table, bassinet, and he sleeps at night in his swing, the broken swing that does not move. That swing is his favorite, he doesn't like the working one... silly boy. We love him!

Someday...

Someday I want to go here! Too bad there isn't something like this closer. :) Does anyone know if there is?? :)

Thanks Sarah for telling me about it. At lest I can dream for now :)

Fall

My Husband said on Friday last week "Enjoy the last day of summer." and we haven't seen much sun since. I am a little glad, and a little sad. I am a little sad not to be able to go to the park as often with Amelia, and to enjoy the warm evenings outside. But I am happy for fall, and the holidays. To have Amelia enjoy for the first time Halloween, snow, Christmas, and all the family gatherings! I also can't wait to make lots of warm baked good with her this year!

And so... I changed my background- and I am officially thinking fall is here!

It was just what I needed

I really like the quote at the end about information and knowledge
